Back in France, With The Perfect White Dress
I still am unable to believe that I clicked on the send-button (and have therefore really sent out my research project on which I worked intensively for seven months) and was only a couple of hours later in a plane back to the south of France. The first night I slept a good ten hours, and I haven’t had a single worry on my mind since arrival. Such bliss! On my first day at the market, I got lucky and found the most perfect, slightly oversized white linen dress at one of those typical French market stands. The large shimmery mother-of-pearl buttons give an extra touch to the outfit, and together with the straight cut slightly remind me of the sober, understated elegance of this Lemaire dress. The dress needs nothing else, besides a straw beach bag and a pair of tan leather sandals. Which is also exactly what I’ll be wearing for the rest of the month.
I am slowly building up my summer wardrobe, and will soon update on the status. Thank you so much for the tips and advice I received regarding summer clothes; the white linen dress and K. Jacques Epicure sandals have so far been my investments clothing-wise for my move to a warmer, humid climate.
